Putting your money where your mouth is

An interesting series of happenings in the last few days. Much as I hate Americanisms, the phrase 'Walk the walk as well as talk the talk' is pretty self explanatory. Now, in the last few days I've come across some great people, all of whom have held down great and well paid jobs - many still do. They are keen to change their lives, do something with meaning that uses their experience, help others succeed whilst making themselves a better than good income. But do you know what most of them lack? Bottle. Honestly - it's terrifying how many people have been salaried so long that they become bystanders in their own lives. Now, I'm not saying it's not scary when you first decide to back yourself, but WOW it's exhilarating when you work out you can break through your self imposed barriers and limitations and live the life and earn the money you want! So, is it only the young who can be brave or are there enough people out there who really do back themselves enough to take a chance on change and really walk the walk? I think so. I'm just reserving my opinion on accountants just now .....
It does strike me though that entrepreneurs are the real warriors - God bless them all!

  1. Life is far too short to not do what you would love to do.

In this world there are few people that do and many people that talk about doing.

I for one find success inspiration fun and excitement from doing.

Where do you sit? Looking back at your life a day before you are dead saying I did that, I did that is much better than saying I wish I had done that.

    Food for thought maybe?

    Nice blog Avril
